Jr., Chief Executive Officer/President
Robert Howard has served as the company’s
president and CEO for more than 40 years, inheriting the company
from founder Robert Howard Sr. Howard oversees the entire company’s
operations, as well as partnerships formed with manufacturers. Howard
possesses a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from the University
of Florida.
Dan Grabhorn, Chief Financial Officer
Dan Grabhorn, Chief Financial Officer, has more
than 17 years of experience, and has been with Howard for 13 years.
Grabhorn is responsible for Howard’s finances, including credit
and legal aspects. Grabhorn received his Bachelor of Science in
Accounting from the University of Florida. He is also a Certified
Public Accountant.
Dwight Kummer, Vice President/General Manager,
Groveland
Dwight Kummer is an experienced golf course superintendent,
with more than 23 years of experience. As Vice President and General
Manager of Howard’s Groveland Division, Kummer oversees Howard’s
specialty sales force and brings a wealth of hands-on experience
with the golf turf market. Kummer has been with Howard for two years.
Kathy Larsen, Vice President of Purchasing and
Specialty Sales
Kathy Larsen is an experienced professional with
strong sales, marketing and purchasing experience. Larsen has served
for 19 years with Howard Fertilizer and is currently Vice President
of Purchasing and Specialty Sales, responsible for purchasing materials
for four of the company’s plants. Larsen is also integral
to the quality assurance process at Howard, helping to maintain
the company’s high product standards. During her time with
Howard, Larsen has also served in capacities ranging from sales
and marketing to assistant to Robert Howard, the company’s
president.

Mark O’Donnell, Vice President of Operations
Mark O’Donnell has served at Howard for more than 20
years, and is responsible for formulation, pricing and the overall
operations of the company’s Groveland and Orlando divisions.
An experienced manager, O’Donnell has also worked as the company’s
Plant Manager and Operations Manager.

Frank Howard, Director of Plant Operations
Frank Howard is an experienced manager, serving
with Howard for nine years as Plant Manager and Purchasing Manager.
As Director of Plant Operations at the company’s Groveland
division, Howard is responsible for ensuring the quality of the
company’s products, both incoming and outgoing.
Jon Howard, Marketing Specialist/Analyst
Jon Howard possesses more than 20 years of varied
experience, ranging from production, to sales and marketing, to
accounting. As analyst and marketing specialist, Howard spearheads
the company’s marketing efforts and provides overall analysis
of operations. Howard has a Master’s in Business Administration

Cheryl Barton, Crop Protection Manager
Cheryl Barton has served with Howard for five years,
and possesses nearly 20 years of experience working with chemicals
used for crop growth and soil maintenance. As Crop Protection Manager,
Barton purchases all of Howard’s chemical solutions, and ensures
that the company complies with restrictions from the Environmental
Protection Agency. Barton has a Bachelor of Science degree from
Southern Illinois University in Plant & Soil Science.
